Instructions:

A cake recipe for all foodies:

Mix the flour with the ground almond kernels. Sift onto a surface, press a dent into it and pour in the yolks.

Put the butter and vegetable fat in flakes on the flour. Sprinkle orange flavoring, vanilla sugar, sugar and candied orange peel.

With floured hands, quickly knead the ingredients together from the outside to the inside to form a smooth dough. Form into 2 cm thick rolls, wrap in cling film and leave in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 100 degrees. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper. Cut the dough rolls into small pieces about 8 cm long, bend them into croissants and place them on the baking tray.

Bake the croissants for 15 minutes, then cool on a cooling rack.

Melt the nougat in a small saucepan and dip the ends of the croissants into it.

Dry completely on a cake rack and keep in a tin until ready to eat.

Tip

Instead of nougat, you can also use dark cooking chocolate.
