Mix the flour with the baking powder and the sugar, pour into a mound on the countertop and press a hollow in the center with your hand.

Beat the egg into the well. Cut the butter into flakes and spread over the flour mixture. Quickly knead all the ingredients into a shortcrust pastry. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.

Mix the ground almonds with the coconut and the orange zest and pour in as much of the orange juice as needed to make a spreadable mixture.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Line the baking tray with baking paper. Divide the dough in half and roll out two rectangles of 30 x 30 cm each. Place one rectangle on the tray and spread with the almond filling. Place the second sheet on top, press the edges well and prick the surface a few times with a fork.

Bake on the middle shelf for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Cut the still hot cookie dough into 2 x 5 cm strips.

Mix the powdered sugar with the remaining orange juice and the juice of half a lemon to make a glaze and decorate the orange slices with it.
