For the oriental mutton kebabs, rinse the mutton with cold water and pat dry. Remove visible tendons and fat. Cut the meat into approximately 4 x 4 cm cubes and place in a large bowl.

For the marinade, peel the onions and cut into coarse pieces. Chop in a cutter with the remaining ingredients. Pour the marinade over the meat pieces and let marinate in a cool place for 2 hours. Meanwhile, pour the settled marinade over the meat pieces several times.

Thread the meat onto skewers, reserving the leftover marinade. Place the mutton skewers on the hot grill and sear on all sides (approx. 20 minutes). Meanwhile, keep drizzling with the leftover marinade.
