For the pear compote with coffee beans and cinnamon, quarter the peeled pears and remove the core. Bring the water, white wine and sugar to a boil in a pot and add the pears. Then add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, lemon slices and coffee beans.

Cover and steam for about 20 minutes until the pears are soft. Before serving, fish out the cinnamon sticks, lemon slices, cloves and coffee beans from the compote.
