Instructions:

For the pear cake, cream butter and sugar, add egg and egg yolks in order.

Sift flour and baking powder on top and fold in, perhaps adding milk (the dough should not be too firm). Finally, stir the cocoa powder, crushed oats, rum, chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg into the batter.

Grease the cake pan, pour in 2/3 of the batter and smooth it out. Remove the skin from the pears, cut them in half and remove the core.

Spread evenly on the batter and press lightly until smooth. Spread the rest of the dough evenly over the pears. Bake.
