Try this delicious cake recipe:

Prepare a smooth batter from the ingredients for the dough and shape it into a well-greased cake springform pan.

Cut the peeled pears into quarters, remove the core and cut the quarters several times lengthwise on the round side (not through). Place the pear quarters on the dough with the cut backs facing upwards and bake the cake at 180 °C for 30 to 40 minutes until golden.

Heat the pear brandy, dissolve the pear jelly and the gelatin in it and coat the still hot cake with it immediately after baking. Remove the cake from the cake tin, let it cool and dust it with powdered sugar.
