Instructions:

Prepare a yeast dough for the pineapple coconut strudel. Mix lukewarm milk, sugar, salt and the yeast until everything has dissolved. Then mix with the egg. Sift the flour into a bowl.

Add softened butter and lemon zest and add the milk mixture. Knead everything well. Then cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with a little apricot jam. Mix the coconut with the rum and spread on the dough.

Then spread the chopped chocolate and the pineapple pieces on top. Roll up the strudel and brush with beaten egg.

Let it rise again for a short time. Bake for about 45 minutes. Halfway through the baking time, turn down to 180 degrees.
