For the pineapple fig jam, cut the pineapple and figs into small pieces, chop a little with a hand blender (but you want a few pieces of fruit left).

Mix fruit with sugar, bring to a boil, simmer for 6 minutes. Pour the pineapple fig jam into clean screw-top jars and seal immediately.
