Cut the pineapple slices into quarters, turn them in sugar (1) on the other side, shape into a greased gratin dish. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff, add sugar (2), continue beating until glossy. Fold coconut flakes just under, spread evenly over pineapple.

Bake in the middle of the oven heated to 220 °C for four to six minutes.
