1. knead the flour with the still cool salt, egg, butter, baking powder and sugar in detail until you get a smooth and supple dough.

Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before rolling it out. 3.

Grease a baking pan or a baking tray. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface or, if necessary, press it apart in the baking pan with the heel of your hand.

Rinse the plums, remove the seeds, cut in half and spread on the dough. Bake the cake at 180 °C for about 45 minutes. Sprinkle the finished cake with cinnamon and sugar, or with almond slivers if you like.
