Instructions:

To make the polenta thaler, boil the polenta together with the water, salt and spices for about 5 minutes until the puree takes consistency.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and place small portions of polenta in the pan and flatten. Fry on both sides until golden brown and slightly crispy and place on a plate lined with kitchen roll (to blot off the fat).
