Instructions:

For the poppy seed cake, first prepare the sponge cake batter. Finally, fold the poppy seeds into the mixture.

Grease a springform pan and line with parchment paper. Pour in the dough and smooth it down.

Bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.

Whip the cream until stiff and carefully fold in the softened, dissolved gelatine.

Cut the cake 1x in half and fill with whipped cream. Spread the poppy seed cake with the remaining whipped cream.
