For the pumpkin puree, rinse the pumpkin well under running water and clean. Remove the seeds from the pumpkin and cut into larger pieces.

Cook the pumpkin pieces with the peel in a large pot with lightly sugared water and a pinch of cinnamon until the flesh is soft.

Drain the sugar water and puree the pumpkin with a hand blender.

Pour the pumpkin puree into a canning jar. This way it will keep in the fridge for up to 6 days.
