Instructions:

For the punch slices, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy – then fold in flour. Empty onto a baking tray and bake at 160 °C for approx. 18 min (cake tin 22 – 25 min).

For the punch filling, remove the sponge cake from the cake pan and crumble. Stir in all other ingredients. Cut the sponge cake in half for the base and spread punch filling on one half.

Place the second half on top and coat with punch glaze.
