Instructions:

For the quick nut buns, roll out the puff pastry and let it rest for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the nut filling according to the instructions and preheat the oven to 200 degrees (convection oven).

Spread the nut filling evenly along the longer side and roll the dough into a roulade. Use a knife to cut the roulade into pieces about 4 cm in size.

Place the nut roulades on the baking paper and brush with milk. Bake for about 25 minutes (until the dough is cooked through).

For the icing, put the powdered sugar in a bowl and gradually add the water. Stir the mixture well. Pour the icing over the cooled nut buns.
