Crab Soup Paste …is a great base for fine fish sauces and crab soups. The aromatic paste has a reddish color and is made from vegetable crab shells, wheat flour, fats, paprika powder and other spices. It is available, for example, from Langbein or Lacroix in the delicatessen shelves of the supermarket or at the fish counter or in fish stores. Also available in other flavors (salmon, fish, lobster).
