For the rum balls, mix chocolate, nuts, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar well in a bowl. Add egg whites, rum and enough water to make a homogeneous mass.

Allow to set a little, then form balls and roll in chocolate sprinkles, colored sugar or grated hazelnuts. Place the rum balls in confectionery capsules and chill until ready to eat.
