Instructions:

For the sauerkraut, dice the onion and sauté in butter. Add the sauerkraut. Add bay leaf, caraway seeds, juniper berries and salt, pour in soup and let simmer for about 15 minutes.

Peel the potato, grate finely and mix in. Simmer gently for another 5 minutes. Serve the sauerkraut as desired.
