For the scones, mix the flour and salt.
Rub in butter and mix in a little egg milk. Knead lightly, roll out onto a floured board and cut out scones about 2cm thick and 7-8cm round.
Place on an oiled baking board and brush with egg/milk. Bake in a hot oven at 220 °C or gas mark 7 for about 10 minutes.
