Instructions:

For the semolina casserole, bring the semolina to the boil with milk, stirring constantly, and boil for about 1 minute (becomes very solid). Leave to cool for about 30 minutes, stirring in between.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.

Make a drift (cream butter and powdered sugar until the mixture is 2 shades lighter in color than at the beginning, gradually add the egg yolks).

Whip the cooled semolina mixture with a hand mixer or in a food processor. Mix in the egg whites until everything is a homogeneous mass. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the semolina mixture.

Now pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish greased with butter. Put it in the oven and bake the semolina casserole for about 45 minutes (depending on the height of the baking dish).
