For Serbian salad, wash the peppers, place on a lightly greased baking sheet and roast in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.

Then cut in half, salt and place on a rack to drain, cut side down. Clean out the peppers and cut into 3 cm wide pieces.

Peel onions, slice thinly and mix with peppers in a deep salad bowl. Peel and finely chop the garlic and add to the bowl as well.

Mix oil with vinegar, salt and pepper, pour over it and refrigerate the salad for two hours.

Wash and chop the parsley. Arrange Serbian salad, garnish with ham and sprinkle with parsley.
