A great cake recipe for any occasion:

I (Renate Schnapka) have a fear that the amount of flour is a misprint. *I* would take 300g flour for it.

For the dough, knead all ingredients together with a mixer until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap, chill for 1 hour.Roll out dough on floured surface to about 1/2cm thick. Cut out various cookie shapes. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in preheated oven at 200 °C for 12-15 minutes. Cool on a cooling rack. Mix powdered sugar with juice of one lemon and 1 tbsp hot water until smooth. Coat cookies with the icing, then decorate with nuts and seeds.
