For the short pastry waves, first line 2 baking sheets with baking paper and preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Cream the butter with the powdered sugar. Gradually add the eggs while stirring. Fold in the flour with a wooden spoon and mix everything together until smooth.

Then pour the mixture into a pastry bag with a star-shaped nozzle and pipe waves onto the baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake the waves in the oven on the middle shelf for about 8 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
