For the smartie cake, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Mix the flour, cocoa and baking powder together, sift finely and add by the spoonful to the mixture and fold in gently.

Pour the batter into a springform pan (18 cm) and bake at 175°C on the middle rack for about 30 minutes and let cool. Now cut the cake in half.

Mix the mascarpone, powdered sugar and cocoa. Put half of it on the bottom of the cake and smooth it out. Put the lid back on and spread the remaining cream, also on the edge.

Cut the KitKat bars in half and stick them to the edge of the cake. Secure with a ribbon, spread the Smarties in the center of the cake and refrigerate the Smartie cake.
