In Norway, waffles are a favorite food. People usually bake simple waffles and finer waffles on festive occasions. There is no doubt that sour cream waffles taste exceptionally good. They should be served freshly baked, when they are still warm and crispy.
They taste good with Norwegian goat cheese (Geitost) or jam and a spoonful of sour whipped cream. Mix all ingredients to a smooth batter and let it swell for 5 to 10 minutes. Bake the waffles at low temperature. They should be golden and crispy.
