Instructions:

Knead a shortcrust pastry from sugar, flour, nuts, spices and butter flakes. Cover and leave to cool for 1 hour.

Preheat electric stove to 200 degrees.

Divide the dough in half. Form into two rolls, each 4 cm thick. Cut these into 1/2 cm thick slices. Form a small roll from each slice and bend into a croissant. Mix egg yolks with a little water, brush over. Bake the croissants on a baking tray covered with parchment paper for 10 minutes. If necessary

dust with powdered sugar.
