For the spicy orange mince, rinse the oranges in hot water, dry them and scrape off the peel with a zester. Squeeze the oranges. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.

Wash the chili peppers and cut into fine rings. Fry the onion in a hot pan with ghee until light, add cinnamon, cloves, curry leaves, chili rings and the ginger-garlic paste and fry briefly.

Add the mince, cumin, turmeric and orange zest and fry for about 5 minutes more, seasoning with salt and pepper. Then gradually add the orange juice, but only a little at a time. As soon as it has evaporated, add more.

Add the last orange juice to the pan together with the garam masala. Wash and coarsely chop the mint and add it as well and remove from the heat. There should be hardly any liquid left.

Arrange the spicy orange mince and serve.
