Instructions:

Briefly wash and dry the steaks and salt and pepper both sides.

For the herb crust, peel the garlic and chop it very finely together with the parsley, rosemary and thyme. Add the breadcrumbs and add enough oil to make a spreadable amount. Season to taste with salt.

For the apple and onion mixture, peel the onion and cut it into fine rings. Peel the apple, cut it into quarters, remove the core and cut the quarters into small cubes. Mix both with the marjoram.

Heat the oil and roast the steaks in it for 4-5 minutes on each side and keep warm. Spread the spice mixture on two steaks and bake in the oven at 200 °C for a short time.

Melt the butter in the frying fat of the steaks and sauté the apple and onion mixture in it for 3-4 minutes and spread evenly on the remaining two steaks.

Arrange the steaks and serve.
