Pour the skim milk into the saucepan with the cinnamon, vanilla sugar and salt and heat. Add the cornstarch with a whisk and stir gently for half a minute. The liquid should thicken slightly.
Pour in the beer, remove the pan from the heat and let it cool down a little.
Add the flour and mix everything together to form a thick batter. Heat the waffle iron to level 3, grease and bake medium brown waffles.
Serve with cinnamon and butter.
