Brown goulash in portions in a roasting pan in lard on all sides on 2 or possibly automatic cooking zone 8 to 9, season with salt, season with pepper. Cut onions into half rings, dice garlic, add to goulash form, sauté until translucent. Add paprika and paprika pulp, sprinkle with flour and fold in, sweat briefly. Pour in clear soup, simmer goulash with closed lid for about 40 minutes on 1 or possibly on automatic heat 4 to 5.

Add the sauerkraut to the goulash and continue cooking for about 1 hour. Season again before serving. Serve goulash in deep plates with sour cream or crème fraiche.
