Instructions:

Put the curd in a sieve lined with a clean kitchen towel, place a board on it, weigh it down with a weight and squeeze it for 10 to 12 hours. Discard the whey.

Put the whipped cream, curd, eggs and butter in a saucepan on the fire and heat while stirring, but do not make. Immediately remove from the fire and put on ice. Add sugar, ground vanilla pod and almond kernels and stir.

Pour into a pas’cha mold. (Or repeatedly into a strainer lined with a kitchen towel. Cover with a heavy weight.) Press for one night, turn out onto a plate. give or remove dish hangl.

Decorate with raisins, almond kernels and/or sukade. (Traditionally with the letters “Xb” for “Christ is risen”).
