For the tuna pasta casserole, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bring water to a boil in a pot, salt and cook pasta in it until al dente.

In the meantime, wash/peel and chop the carrots and celery. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the vegetables in it.

Add the drained tuna and fry briefly. Then add the tomato sauce or the strained tomatoes. Add a little more water if needed.

Then stir in the corn, season and taste. Put the pasta in a baking dish and spread the vegetable-tuna mixture over it.

Place the tomato slices on top and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 20-30 minutes until the cheese has melted.
