Instructions:

Grate the potatoes.

Cut the onions into cubes.

Mix eggs, oatmeal with the potato mixture.

Add salt.

Heat oil in frying pan, fry small pancakes from 1-2 spoonfuls of the potato mixture on both sides until golden brown.

Finely grate pumpernickel. Spread the pancakes with turnip cabbage and sprinkle with pumpernickel.

Apple puree is a good accompaniment.
